Audi has unveiled the Concept C, an all-electric two-seat sports car that embodies the brand’s new design philosophy. More than a design study, the Concept C serves as a manifesto, capturing Audi’s ambition to redefine simplicity as strength. Every detail reflects a shift towards clarity, precision, and emotion, previewing the direction of future production models.

Reinterpreting the Audi Face

The most striking feature of the Concept C is its vertical frame, a design element that redefines the front of the car. This upright form draws on the Auto Union Type C of 1936 and the third-generation Audi A6 of 2004, bridging past and future. From this starting point, the rest of the car’s architecture takes shape. The Audi rings are integrated into the frame, asserting presence and identity in a way that feels both familiar and progressive.

Sculpted for Proportion and Performance

With its central battery layout, the Concept C achieves athletic proportions. A strong shoulder line anchors the design, while the cabin stretches far back and sits firmly on the body. For the first time in an Audi roadster, a two-part electrically retractable hardtop makes its debut. It allows the freedom of open-top driving while preserving the unified silhouette of a coupe. The rear design continues this language with clean surfaces and horizontal slats that emphasize width and sportiness.

The exterior is finished in Titanium, a color chosen for its association with precision and strength. Warm yet technical, it gives the car an understated elegance. Complementing this finish is a new lighting identity, with four horizontally arranged elements in both the headlights and taillights. This detail will serve as a defining visual marker for Audi models in the years ahead.

Interior with Purpose

The Concept C’s cabin is shaped by architectural surfaces and geometric clarity. Designed for two, it subtly prioritizes the driver without compromising passenger comfort. Every element has been reduced to essentials.

Controls made of anodized aluminum provide both visual and tactile precision, delivering the unmistakable “Audi click.” The steering wheel stands at the center of the driving experience, crafted with real metal Audi rings and refined haptic details. A titanium-inspired color palette is paired with natural materials and indirect ambient lighting, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, solid, and sophisticated.

Technology in the Background

Audi has introduced what it calls “shy tech” in the Concept C. Technology is always present, but never dominant. A foldable 10.4 inch display appears only when needed, delivering information in context. Haptic controls on the wheel and center console provide clear and intuitive interaction. By keeping technology restrained, Audi allows design and craftsmanship to remain the focus.

A Defining Moment for Audi

The Audi Concept C represents more than a concept car. It marks a shift in the company’s design philosophy, setting a template for future models. The car’s balance of heritage and progress, of reduction and precision, captures the essence of where Audi is heading.

Simplicity, in the Concept C, is not emptiness but clarity. It is a design language built on proportion, precision, and restrained confidence. With this car, Audi is not only imagining the future but actively shaping it.
