Kia has revealed the new Stonic, a compact crossover that blends expressive design with advanced technology and versatile powertrains. Guided by the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the Stonic arrives with refreshed styling, premium interior features, and one of the most comprehensive safety packages in its class.
A Compact Crossover with Versatility
Measuring 4,165 mm in length, the new Stonic maintains a compact urban-friendly footprint while offering up to 352 liters of cargo space and generous passenger comfort, including 1,070 mm of front legroom. The powertrain line-up includes a 1.0-liter T-GDI engine available in petrol and mild-hybrid options. Customers can choose between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, balancing everyday performance with efficiency.

Design Identity Inspired by ‘Opposites United’
The new Stonic introduces a sharper, more confident character. Its front fascia features Kia’s Star Map Signature Lighting, a restructured grille, and a sculpted bumper. At the rear, a redesigned tailgate, updated taillight signature, and a cleaner bumper profile modernize its dynamic look. New 16-inch and 17-inch alloys strengthen its stance, with exclusive designs for the GT-Line. Two fresh color options, Adventurous Green and Yacht Blue, extend the palette.
Upper-Segment Interior Experience
Inside, the Stonic redefines expectations for a compact crossover. The panoramic dual display integrates two 12.3-inch screens, combining digital instrumentation with advanced infotainment. A Multimode Touch Display replaces traditional HVAC controls, offering a sleek interface to switch between climate and media functions.
Additional updates include a redesigned steering wheel, resculpted gear knob, updated dashboard, and a new centre console. Convenience features such as USB-C fast charging, wireless smartphone charging, and ambient lighting give the cabin a more premium atmosphere.

Connectivity for the Digital Generation
Equipped with Kia Connect, the Stonic offers cloud-based services, real-time diagnostics, and remote vehicle interaction through the Kia App. A new Digital Key allows drivers to unlock and start the car using a smartphone or smartwatch, bringing features once reserved for premium vehicles into the compact segment.
Class-Leading Safety
Safety is a major highlight of the new Stonic. Its ADAS package includes Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist with Safe Exit Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, and Lane Following Assist. These features position the Stonic as a leader in compact crossover safety, integrating advanced systems usually found in larger models.
A Global Player in the B-Segment
With its bold design, premium interior, and versatile powertrains, the Kia Stonic reinforces its place in the global compact crossover market. It demonstrates Kia’s commitment to making advanced design, connectivity, and safety accessible to a wider audience.
