Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno, a few-off masterpiece limited to just 29 units. Revealed during Monterey Car Week 2025, it stands as the most powerful and technologically advanced Lamborghini ever built, while also celebrating 20 years of the brand’s design center, Centro Stile.
A Heritage of Few-Off Icons
The Fenomeno continues Lamborghini’s tradition of exclusive limited editions that began with the Reventón in 2007. That lineage expanded through the Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and Countach. Each model redefined exclusivity and innovation. The Fenomeno now sets a new benchmark as the fastest and most advanced Lamborghini to date.
The name pays tribute to a legendary bull pardoned for its exceptional bravery in Morelia, Mexico, in 2002. In both Italian and Spanish, “Fenomeno” translates to “phenomenal,” symbolizing the car’s extraordinary nature.
Design as a Manifesto
The Fenomeno is presented as Lamborghini’s new design manifesto. Its long-tail proportions, taut lines, and puristic surfaces create a hyper-elegant super sports silhouette. The single center line, a hallmark of Lamborghini DNA, runs cleanly from nose to tail, defining a futuristic and athletic form.
At the front, large air intakes inspired by racing prototypes dominate the hood. A new light signature pays homage to the bull’s horns in Lamborghini’s emblem, while the brand’s updated logo makes its debut on the Fenomeno. From the side, the long, sculptural body is enhanced by exposed carbon elements that double as aerodynamic aids. The rear is defined by a continuous arc linking the wing and wheel arches, framing a vertical Y-shaped light signature.
The design celebrates twenty years of Centro Stile by pushing heritage into an unexpected, elegant, and brave new direction.
Aerodynamics and Chassis Innovation
Aerodynamics are central to the Fenomeno. Air curtains at the front manage airflow around the wheels, while an S-Duct channels air through the hood, over the concave roof, and into the rear wing. The roof design directs airflow both to the engine bay for cooling and to the omega-shaped rear wing for high-speed stability.
The chassis is Lamborghini’s latest monofuselage, a carbon fiber monocoque with a Forged Composite front structure. Every detail has been developed with motorsport precision, from the single-nut forged rims wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires to the CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes adapted from endurance racing.
Record-Breaking Performance
The Fenomeno pairs Lamborghini’s most powerful naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors. The 6.5-liter V12 produces 835 CV at 9,250 rpm, while the electric motors add 245 CV, bringing total output to 1,080 CV. The system uses an innovative 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, integrated rear e-motor, and front-axle e-motors with torque vectoring.
Performance figures set new records for Lamborghini. The Fenomeno accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Top speed exceeds 350 km/h. The weight-to-power ratio of 1.64 kg per CV is the best in the company’s history.
Interior: A Pilot’s Environment
Inside, the Fenomeno embodies Lamborghini’s “feel like a pilot” philosophy. The cabin is wrapped in carbon fiber, forged composites, and premium materials. Bucket seats, a race-inspired steering wheel, and three digital displays create a minimalist yet immersive driving environment. Ambient lighting highlights the spaceship-like forms of the interior.
Every car can be personalised through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, offering more than 400 exterior colors and virtually unlimited interior options.
The Ultimate Expression of Lamborghini
According to CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the Fenomeno represents Lamborghini’s philosophy of distinction and innovation at its highest level. It combines heritage with new technologies like the 6D sensor, advanced aerodynamics, and hybrid V12 powertrain, making it both a performance phenomenon and a design statement.
With production capped at 29 units, the Lamborghini Fenomeno is destined to become one of the most exclusive and collectible super sports cars of the modern era.
