The Layout Armchair series brings together clarity, comfort, and sustainability. Designed by Julien Renault, the four models (211, 212, 213, 214) share a common structure yet differ in material expression, offering versatility without losing identity.

A Design of Lightness and Comfort

The open backrest defines the Layout Armchair. This cut-out not only enhances ergonomic comfort but also gives the chair a sense of transparency. Slim tubular legs extend this visual lightness, keeping the form elegant and adaptable across settings.

Built on Circular Principles

Sustainability is central to the Layout series. Each chair can be fully disassembled for repair or refurbishment. The shell and seat are made from at least 96 percent post-consumer recycled plastic, showing how circular design can meet everyday functionality.

Four Models, One Framework

• 211: Plastic shell and seat

• 212: Plastic shell with plywood seat for warmth

• 213: Upholstered seat for added comfort

• 214: Fully upholstered shell and seat for a softer expression

Each variation balances consistency and individuality, allowing the chair to shift from minimal to refined depending on context.

Materials and Options

The shell and seat use recycled polypropylene. Bases are available in chrome or powder-coated steel, with additional configurations including swivel or wooden legs in select versions. Upholstery options range from durable fabrics to olive leaf–tanned leather, providing tactile refinement.

Compact yet accommodating, the series offers generous ergonomics within a small footprint:
