Redefining the Art of Time on the Move

The Mitsubishi Elevance Concept presents a clear shift in how mobility is understood. It is designed not around performance figures or range alone but around time, how it is spent, how we move through it, and how design can shape it.

The Elevance is an electrified crossover SUV that blends refined form with advanced engineering. Powered by a quad-motor 4WD system using Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC), it offers confident handling across city streets, mountain tracks, and other terrains.

Its plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) system, combined with an engine compatible with carbon-neutral fuel, delivers the quiet and powerful performance of an electric drive while retaining the reliability of hybrid travel. The large traction battery also serves as a power source for outdoor experiences, turning remote destinations into comfortable, connected retreats.

Design: Strength in Simplicity

The Elevance builds on Mitsubishi’s Luxe Adventurer design philosophy, combining a smooth capsule-like cabin with a strong rib-bone-inspired frame. The result is a shape that feels both lightweight and robust, futuristic in intent yet grounded in proportion.

At the front, Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design identity takes on a more refined interpretation. The honeycomb grille expresses strength and precision, while a single character line flows continuously from headlight to tail light, emphasizing motion and harmony.

Lowered side windows create a connection between the cabin and the surrounding environment, allowing passengers to fully experience the landscape in motion.

Intelligent Power

The PHEV system is built for flexibility and endurance. It prioritizes clean electric performance for daily use and switches to hybrid mode for longer drives. In-wheel motors at the front enhance agility, while dual rear motors with Active Yaw Control (AYC) provide stability and control.

Each wheel operates independently under Mitsubishi’s advanced traction logic, improving grip and maintaining body balance across varied terrain. This ensures a smooth and composed drive while minimizing sway and reducing passenger fatigue.

Inside: Calm Through Technology

The interior is shaped with Mitsubishi’s focus on protection, comfort, and intuitive control. The seamless shell-like panels and full-width digital display create a unified environment that surrounds passengers with calm precision.

An AI Co-Driver system is integrated into the steering wheel and instrument panel. It suggests destinations based on driver preferences, analyzes road and weather conditions, and recommends drive modes in real time. The result is a more confident and adaptive driving experience.

The three-row, six-seat layout offers generous space, with soft-touch materials and high-quality leather seats designed for comfort on long journeys. When paired with a trailer, the vehicle’s PHEV system can power amenities such as a kitchen or shower enclosure, providing a refined off-grid experience.

Redefining the Modern SUV

The Mitsubishi Elevance Concept moves beyond the idea of transport. It transforms travel into an experience that combines confidence, comfort, and connection.

It is not only a vision of the future SUV but also a vision of how we might live within our vehicles, designed for time well spent.
