Rolls-Royce Spectre Inspired by Primavera: A Celebration of Spring in Motion

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has revealed the Spectre Inspired by Primavera, a Bespoke series that transforms the fleeting beauty of spring into a lasting expression of design. Named after the Italian word for spring, this collection reflects the season’s vitality and delicacy, preserved in the permanence of a Rolls-Royce commission.

Martina Starke, Head of Bespoke Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, explains, “Spring is a moment of celebration in cultures around the world. It is associated with youth and romance, the return of light and warmth after the darkness of winter. Its joyous transformation is swift and fleeting, which makes it all the more precious. In Spectre Inspired by Primavera, we captured the emotions this moment brings for clients to enjoy all year round.”

Three Expressions of Primavera

The collection offers three distinct interpretations of spring: Evanescent, Reverie, and Blossom. Each is crafted with unique Bespoke details, available to commission until early 2026, with first deliveries scheduled ahead of spring that year.

• Evanescent: Luminous BeautyInspired by the ephemeral charm of wildflowers, Evanescent features a Crystal over Arctic White finish accented by Turchese highlights on the coachline, wheel centres, and brake callipers. Inside, Grace White leather is paired with vibrant piping in Chartreuse, creating a light-filled and vivid atmosphere.

• Reverie: Nature’s AwakeningReverie draws on the serenity and renewal associated with spring. Its Duck Egg Blue exterior is elevated by a Forge Yellow coachline and brake details, echoed within the interior through accents against Grace White and Charles Blue leather. The overall effect is calm, contemplative, and deeply harmonious.

• Blossom: Season’s RenewalExpressive and radiant, Blossom embodies spring at its peak. A Velvet Orchid Metallic finish evokes the richness of early blooms, complemented by Forge Yellow detailing. The cabin combines Grace White leather with Peony Pink accents, with Forge Yellow piping as a final flourish of vibrancy.

Bespoke Craftsmanship and Design

Each Spectre Inspired by Primavera carries hand-painted floral coachlines and a new 23-inch wheel design that subtly references a flower in bloom. Cherry blossom motifs, sketched by a Rolls-Royce designer and digitised for precision, appear throughout the series — from treadplates to embroidered headrests.

Inside, the highlight is a Blackwood fascia and centre console, etched with a blossoming cherry bough motif. Achieving this detail required experimenting with 37 different laser densities before perfecting the final texture. This innovation demonstrates the depth of craftsmanship that defines the Bespoke programme.

Another striking element is the Starlight Doors and Illuminated Fascia, inspired by spring constellations. With 4,796 hand-placed illuminations on the doors and more than 5,500 stars on the fascia, the effect evokes the Spring Triangle constellation, celebrating nature’s cosmic rhythms.
